The About tab provides version information for all components needed to run MarketDirect StoreFront. This is useful, for instance, if you need to provide technical support personnel with information about the versions of software that are running on your site.
1. Scroll down to view version information for all software MarketDirect StoreFront uses.
a. EFI: Items marked EFI are EFI software components.
b. GAC: Items marked GAC (for global assembly cache) are computer-wide .NET assemblies that MarketDirect StoreFront uses.
Note: This information is useful to provide technical support if you experience problems. The database and software version are listed at the top of the page under the heading Version Information. This page also displays the sitealias, sitekey, and GUID (Global Unique ID) for the site, which external applications may need to communicate with MarketDirect StoreFront.
2. The What's New link (if it is turned on in the Site Settings > Basic Settings tab; for information on turning this link on, see Show What is New in Admin Home) will open the Versions of MDSF page.
Note: The Versions of MDSF page displays version information and links to available software updates and upgrades and their the corresponding release notes (in PDF format). Note that the link to the release notes will be active only if you are not on the latest version of the MarketDirect StoreFront system software.
